Women in Modern Russia

Exploring the complex status of women in Russia, this collection addresses the persistent inequalities that have endured since the 1917 Revolution. Despite Soviet propaganda claiming gender equality, women faced significant discrimination. The democratic reforms of the 1980s finally acknowledged women's issues as critical socio-political concerns. This book offers insightful perspectives and calls for practical measures to improve women's positions in society. Mai mult
